The Caloosa Veterinary Medical Society, Inc. is formed to operate as a charitable and educational organization for the advancement of community education and to further the humane attitude of the general public towards animals and other charitable purposes. Its funds shall be used for the support of animal welfare organizations and for enhancement of the veterinary profession through continuing education and social interaction.

The Society will support members and others in the profession and community by sponsoring educational public events concerning the profession, including cash donations to other organizations such as the Humane Society of Lee County, The Lee County Nature Center, the Animal Refuge Center, and C.R.O.W. in support of the community which is concerned with animal welfare and public awareness of the environment, education, and other educational endeavors. The general purpose for which this corporation is formed is to operate for such charitable and educational purposes to include providing continuing education for veterinarians, certified veterinary technicians, non certified technicians and staff, and other non-technical veterinary personnel.

The Caloosa Veterinary Medical Society is committed to the financial support of other educational institutions including the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida.
